Jonathan W. Osgood, C.F.A.

Co-Founder and Managing Member, Boston Office.

Prior to founding Cutlass Capital, Jon was a research analyst at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and its predecessors from 1983 to 2000. He was Global Head of Health Care Research from 1984 until 2000, and headed one of the largest health care research departments on Wall Street with over 40 professionals worldwide. His industry analytical responsibilities included every sector of health care, with special emphasis on medical technology and health care information systems. Jon was elected several times to the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team and was named a Wall Street Journal All-Star for his stock picking ability.

Jon is a Director of CardioKinetix, Inc., GI Dynamics, Inc., Hemosphere, Inc., TranS1, Inc., and Xoft, Inc. He was previously an Observer on the Board of Evalve, Inc. In addition, he serves on the Board of Overseers of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Jon has a BA (Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from Dartmouth College and an MBA (Amos Tuck Scholar) from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth.
